DMK | Bangkok Don Mueang

You can shop Duty Free when arriving in Bangkok at both major gateway airports. Suvarnabhumi is the global hub with flights from around the globe, whereas Don Mueang caters for low-cost airlines like Air Asia, serving destinations in SE Asia.

Duty Free shopping is available in all terminals, both for arrival, or on departure and there is now a developing online pre-order facility. To see a detail of the King Power Duty Free website, click the link. Other Thai airports, like Phuket or Samui, which mainly cater for tourist traffic, also have inbound Duty Free stores and the usual outbound facilities.

Arrivals shopping is not always ideal, due to time, but for those wishing to pick up tobaccos or alchoholic drinks that they were unable to carry in-transit, the stores are right next to the baggage carousels and it is easy to buy whilst your bags come through. Customs restrictions follow international norms and for the Thailand Duty Free allowances, click the red Customs icon for exemptions and limits.

This airport has now re-established international flights, with many low cost airlines moving their flights to this airport. Duty Free shops are now open as these pan-asian flights have now commenced.

Some airline and airport retailers are yet to publish their online duty free prices and catalogues, others have now started incorporating online pre-order facilities.

We will publish the details for this airport as soon as they are available and where relevant to this airport, publish the airline in-flight price list, enabling you to make a comparison of the available products and prices.

If no local sites are available, we will provide links to a site where you can best check prices.
