Israel duty-free shopping, inbound regulations, new rules in effect from April 2013: The import of tobacco products into this country has been reduced to 200 cigarettes or 125 grams of tobacco products or cigars. Travellers under the age of 18 years have no allowance for tobacco products.
This country permits the collection of duty free goods on arrival in the airport baggage hall, but you must first purchase your goods on departure then collect them on your return. There are currently no duty free retail facilities for arriving passengers, but a pre-order service may be introduced in the future.
Some airline and airport retailers are yet to publish their online duty free prices and catalogues, others have now started incorporating online pre-order facilities.
